TERMS & CONDITIONS

Tales of Joy ("we" and "us") is the operator of (https://talesofjoy.in) ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website, you will agree to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations for our service.

1. General:

Subject to stock availability:

We try to maintain adequate stock counts on our website but sometimes, there may be non-availability of products and we may not be able to fulfill all your item requirements at once. In this case, we can deliver the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to wait for the restocking of the backordered item or whether you would prefer for us to process a refund.

 

2. Shipping Costs:

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in the order. Shipping payment will be collected at the time of purchase.

This price will be the final price inclusive of the shipping cost.

3. Return & Refund Policy:

3.1 Return Policy

Tales of Joy will happily accept returns as long as a request to return is received by us within 14 days of receipt of the item and the item is returned to us in it’s original packaging, unused, and in a resalable condition.

​

Arrangement of Return shipping and it’s cost is the customer’s responsibility. Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be processed to store credit for a future purchase. We will notify you once this has been completed through email. (Tales of Joy) will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid.

 

Only regular-priced goods can be refunded. Unfortunately, Goods ‘On sale’ or ‘Discounted Price’ cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to you if it is not permitted by applicable law.

 

3.2 Refund Policy

In case of a refund, customers are requested to note that the refund will be done using the same platform to the same account number from which the payment was made.

3.3 Products cannot be returned under the following circumstances

* The products are customized or clearly personalized.

* The products are perishable or have expired.

* The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

* The products, after delivery have been, inseparably mixed with other items.

3.4 Warranty Returns

Tales of Joy will happily honor any valid warranty claims, provided a claim is submitted within 90 days of receipt of items.

Customers will be required to pre-pay the return shipping, however we will reimburse you upon successful warranty claim.

Upon return receipt of items for warranty claim, you can expect Tales of Joy to process your warranty claim within 7 days

Once the warranty claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of:

(a) Refund to your payment method

(b) A refund in store credit

(c) A replacement item sent to you (if stock is available)

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions is our sole discretion.

 

4. Delivery Terms:

4.1 Transit Time Domestically

In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 2 - 7 days

​

4.2 Transit time internationally

Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 4 - 22 days. This varies greatly depending on the courier you have selected. We can offer a more specific estimate when you are choosing your courier at checkout.

 

4.3 Change of Delivery Address

For a change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

Orders placed before 01 AM - UTC+05:30 will be dispatched the same day, otherwise, within the next business day.

Our warehouse operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

 

4.4 P.O. Box Shipping

Courier services may not deliver to some P.O. Box addresses. In this case, only postal delivery would be possible.

 

4.5 Delivery Time Exceeded

If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.

 

5. Tracking Notifications:

Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.

 

6. Parcels Damaged In Transit:

If you find a parcel is tampered with or damaged in transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and contact our customer care.

 

7. Parcel received by someone else:

 If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service.

 

8. Duties & Taxes:

 

8.1 Goods and Service Tax

All the product prices are inclusive of Goods and Service Tax

 

8.2 Import Duties & Taxes

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in the destination country. This varies by country, and’ Tales of Joy’ encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tales of Joy at the customer’s expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.

 

9. Cancellations Policy:

9.1 Time of Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order, you need to inform us 12 hours before our dispatch process which is usually the same day when the order is placed, provided it is not a weekend / national / state holiday. If an order has already been dispatched, you need to apply for a return and refund, details of which are mentioned above.

 

9.2 Process for parcel damaged in-transit

In case you have received damaged goods and wish for a return or replacement, you need to immediately send pictures of the damaged goods to us via WhatsApp or mail and arrange to deliver the goods back to us. The cost of return has to be borne by you. Once, we receive the goods and they match with the pictures sent, the return or replacement process will be initiated.

 

10. Others:

 

10.1 Insurance

Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier.

 

10.2 Process for parcel lost in transit

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.

 

10.3 Affiliated Products

If you have any queries or issues related to affiliated products, please get in touch with the respective platforms from where you have made the purchase. We, ‘Tales of Joy’ will not take any responsibility for the products.

 

10.4 Gifts

If the Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the Goods weren't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to them to give it to you later, we will send the refund to the gift giver.

 

11. Wholesalers Policy:

All those who are interested in being wholesalers or distributors of 'Tales of Joy' are requested to get in touch with us by visiting our page- Tales of Joy  The terms and conditions for the association will be mentioned in the agreement.
